Initial Examination
Your dentist will review your medical and dental history and complete a dental exam. This exam will cover an examination of your teeth, gums, jaw and bite, any X-rays needed and an oral cancer screening.
Treatment Plan
Your dentist will create a comprehensive, long-term dental treatment plan based on your examination, and oral health history and current needs. There will be time to ask any questions you may have about your health and treatment options.

To book an appointment at Pickering Village Dental, please contact our office during our regular business hours.
- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please note, we require 24 hours or 1 business day notice to reschedule appointments. This allows us to offer space in our schedule to another patient.
- Do you offer appointment reminders?
In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone appointment reminders and confirmation via email or text from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to notify us.
- Do you provide services in any languages other than English?
Yes, Dr. Iatropoulos is able to provide dental services in Greek.
If you have a language preference, please advise us when booking your appointment.
- Does your clinic have on-site parking?
Yes, we have parking available for all our patients. We are also accessible via public transit.
Insurance & Financing
At Pickering Village Dental, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, direct billing to insurance companies and financing.
- Direct Billing to Insurance
We offer direct billing for many insurance plans. For your convenience, we're able to submit your insurance claim electronically, leading to reimbursement for you without needing signatures or forms on paper.
Our administrative team can help you understand your insurance plan and can send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments.
Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.
- Payment Methods
Any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or Visa and Mastercard.
